- So studio 14 held a party two nights ago. I decided to show up because I feel I have not interacted withthe french students much. Let me tell you what the night consisted of:
A brass band of about 14 people playing up on some type of stage...the popular song was lion kings in the jungle, yes the mighty mighty jungle. The band was not all that good, but I guess it was good eneugh for the drunk french students to dance swing too. They are pretty good at dancing. Most americans do not know how to dance unless it is that club bump and grind stuff, therefore not too many americans danced. I did not dance until the bongo drums came out and a group of 5 were playing some pretty interesting beats on them. It was cool, I think some people thought it was odd music, but I like it. and then it went back to the swing dancing again with the brass band and I took part in that. I started doing the oly swing dance move I know which is close to dancing like ska...so I did that and then some other funny twirls and swings with this cool girl named Julie. Julie is sitting next to me now. she rocks. So we were off into our own world of dancing and mimicing other dancers (which is qute a fun game I must add, some people are funny dancers). At the end of the party most of the americans went back to an apartment to keep the night going...but not much excitement happpened there. I left after about a half hour.
